SSD demand is very strong

Solid-state disk (SSD) came to the sweet spot and business opportunities broke out. It also became the main battlefield for major memory module factories this year. We are optimistic that the overall shipment volume of SSDs will increase, including AMD Power, Transcend, Apacer and Guangying memory module plants. This year, we will all lock down SSD items to accelerate the launch of new products and seize SSD's rapid growth opportunities.

According to the forecast, under the effect of price cuts by major suppliers, more and more people’s computer brands will be equipped with SSDs. In particular, the contract price in the first quarter will drop by 3% to 6%, which will also attract importation of pen-power plants, which will help increase the penetration rate of notebooks.

Optimistic about the overall shipment volume of SSDs to warm up, AMD, Transcend, Apacer, Guangying and other memory module plants are accelerating the introduction of new products; flash memory control IC makers Hui Rong and Qunlian, also all launched The series of SSD control ICs that support 3D NAND Flash are fully active in the entire supply chain.

It is estimated that last year's SSD price was soared due to the shortage of NAND Flash. The purchase volume of PC OEMs was more conservative than originally planned, resulting in an average pickup rate of 40% for notebook PCs last year, which was lower than expected. This year, the price of SSDs has reversed, and the proportion of laptops carrying SSDs has exceeded the 50% mark.

Apacer and Kwong Ying simultaneously launched the metal military external solid-state hard disk, locking business people.

Weigang and Apacer performed well last year. Weigang last year had a net profit of 8.59 yuan per share, an increase of 38.3% year over year. The board of directors decided to pay 6 yuan per share last year. Apacer had a net profit of 4.06 yuan per share last year, setting a record high for the company. It also passed 2.6 yuan per share last year.
