According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) 2 reported on May 11, tripartite talks about Ukrainian problem were held in the Minsk,the capital of Belarus on February 10. The meeting lasted nearly two hours.Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchmaon who was on behalf of Ukraine, the OSCE Special Representative Adelaide Tagliavini, Russia's ambassador in Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov participated in the talks.

According to the BBC quoted Itar-Tass reported that the Tripartite Liaison Group warring parties to reach an agreement that the army of Ukraine and Russia in eastern Uganda withdraw heavy weapons from the line of separation,and agreed a ceasefire mechanism, and other issues on ceasefire monitoring.

According to reports,on last September 5, on the Minsk,the capital of Belarus,Ukraine Tripartite Liaison Group (Ukraine, OSCE, Russia) had made the agreement with the eastern Ukrainian folk on ceasefire issue.What’s more,on September 19, the three parties signed a memorandum of the Contact Group with representatives of the Ukrainian armed eastern folk, promising that each provided 30 km wide buffer.
